You are where you are because of your choices

If there is one thing we have in this world, it’s only the freedom to make our own choices.  We have no control of anything here, not the weather, not other people and not even our own bodies. We only have control of our choices.

You may feel that you are not in a very good state in life right now because of your situation, circumstances, your parents, your spouse, your lack of education, etc.

But the truth of the matter is you are in that state, be it good or bad, because of your choices and there is nothing and no one to blame except you, for your bad choices.  Nut on the contrary, if you are living the good life, there is nothing or nobody to take credit for it than you, for your good choices.

People normally blame anything and everybody for their bad luck. It’s a human habit.  Nobody practically admits their mistakes.

Husbands blame their wives and wives blame their husbands for their bad marriage. Hello, you chose to marry each other.

Parents blame their children for behaving badly.  Hello, you chose to raise them that way.

Employees are blaming their bosses of being too strict, unfair and inconsiderate.  Hello, you can choose to leave the company anytime.

What Are Your Choices?

Everything that happens around you are just the way they are and are supposed to be. Whether they are the annoying people you deal with, the unpredictable weather raining on your parade or the flying germ virus hovering over to give you a flu, you just have to deal with them.

Blaming and complaining are pointless.  But deciding to tackle them isn’t because you have choices. Chose to deal with them or chose to avoid them.

Choosing not to choose is still a choice. Choosing, however, is far better than ranting.

Do not be afraid to choose because if you made the wrong choice, you can always choose another.  There is always time to correct your bad choices.

Come to think of it, we live everyday by making choices. We chose to wake up in the morning or snooze for a while.  We choose to drink coffee or tea. We choose to wear the white shirt or the blue one, and so on.

Every moment is a crossroad, so choose wisely.

Have a simple and better life

What really matters in this world is “what you want” and “what makes you happy.” All the rest are either secondary or unimportant. Your happiness is the prime concern so your stay in this world is as close as possible to Heaven.
